Стилізація як стилеутворюючий інструмент індивідуальної манери київського живописця Вадима Михальчука

Abstract

Дослідження має на меті актуалізацію творчості київського живописця Вадима Володимировича Михальчука. Охарактеризовано різні амплуа творчої особистості митця – як художника, педагога, суспільного діяча, колекціонера. Приділено увагу викладацькій та науковій роботі автора, синтезу теоретичних штудій та практичної діяльності. Зроблено стислий аналіз публікацій про нього у науковій періодиці, окреслено ті аспекти, які на сьогодні виокремлені ще не достатньо і вимагають детальнішого розгляду. Поставлено наголос на активній експозиційній діяльності митця, прослідковано головні події його виставкового життя, акцентовані персональні проекти. Основною метою статті є висвітлити стилізацію як формуючий метод індивідуальної манери живописця. Науковий пошук вівся за допомогою інструментарію біографічного, хронологічного, комплексного методів. Розглянуто головні етапи становлення особистого стилю митця, охарактеризовано домінуючі впливи на формування його манери. Висвітлено методи роботи з кольором, основні композиційні прийоми, домінуючі сюжетні лінії. Прослідковано еволюційні процеси в творчій манері, фактори, що вплинули на процес утворення власного почерку митця як живописця. Зроблено акцент на універсалізмі художнього інструментарію майстра. Окреслено поліжанровість творчості художника, проаналізовані приклади з різних жанрів живопису (натюрморт, портрет, сюжетні твори, абстрактні композиції, пейзаж). Акцентовані жанри, де стилізація як провідний інструмент майстра найефективніше дається взнаки. Наведено основні риси, які відрізняють живописну манеру художника в різні періоди його творчості, підкреслено поступову усвідомлену відмову від натуралістичності, появу декоративності, площинності, спрощеності, вітражності як основних рис манери більш зрілого періоду творчості митця. Аналіз зроблено на матеріалі живопису 1990-х – 2020-х рр. Твори майстра зберігаються у державних колекціях та приватних збірках різних країн світу

The research is aimed at the actualization od creative work of the Kyiv painter Vadym Volodymyrovych Mykhalchuk. Various roles of the artist’s creative personality are characterized – as an artist, teacher, social worker, collector. Attention is paid to the teaching and scientific work of the author, synthesis of theoretical studies and practical activities. A brief analysis of publications about it in scientific periodicals have been done, those aspects that are not yet highlighted enough and require more detailed consideration are outlined. Emphasis is placed on the artist’s active exhibition activity, the main events of his exhibition life are traced, personal projects are emphasized. The main goal of the article is to highlight stylization as a formative method of the painter’s individual manner. The scientific search was conducted with the help of biographical, chronological, complex methods. The main stages of the formation of the artist’s personal style are considered, and the dominant influences on the formation of his manner are characterized. The methods of working with color, the main compositional techniques, and dominant storylines are covered. Evolutionary processes in the creative manner, factors that influenced the process of formation of the artist’s own handwriting as a painter were followed. Emphasis is placed on the universality of the master’s artistic tools. The multi-genre nature of the artist’s work is outlined, examples from different genres of painting are analyzed (still life, portrait, plot works, abstract compositions, landscape). Genres, where stylization as the leading tool of the master is most effectively shown, have been accented. The main features that distinguish the painting style of the artist in different periods of his work are given, the gradual conscious rejection of naturalism, the appearance of decorativeness, flatness, simplification, and stained glass as the main features of the style of the more mature period of the artist’s work are emphasized. The analysis was made on the painting material of the 1990s-2020s. The master’s works are in the state and private collections of various countries around the world.
