Abstract

Пошук найбільш вдалого або єдиного варіанта перекладу вузькоспеціального терміна безпосередньо пов’язаний з питаннями теорії і практики перекладу, які неодмінно зводяться до вирішення проблеми уніфікації та стандартизації термінології. Науковий переклад акцентує увагу насамперед на змісті тексту оригіналу, тоді як художній не меншою мірою зосереджений на збереженні естетичності.

The search for the most successful or the only version of the translation of a highly specialized term is directly related to the questions of the theory and practice of translation, which necessarily boil down to solving the problem of unification and standardization of terminology. Scientific translation focuses primarily on the content of the original text, while artistic translation is no less focused on preserving aesthetics.
