dc.description.abstract | . The study explores ways of translation onomastic irrealia of the fictional world in the apocalyptic novel. Fiction world and its features are described from the perspective of translation studies. The paper also analyses genre and stylistic features of the apocalyptic novel and draws the main attention to the definition of irrealia as fictional world’s markers. The material for the research was obtained from the English apocalyptic novel «SEVENEVES» by Neal Stephenson and its Ukrainian translation. The study highlights dominant translation procedures to render apocalyptic onomastic irrealia from English into Ukrainian. | uk_UA |
