Abstract

The research deals with a short history of the flipped learning method in Ukraine and the USA at its beginning of development, advantages and topicality of the method use in peaceful time and under martial law on the example of teaching disciplines "Theory and Practice of Translation", "Psychology and Pedagogy of the Higher School", "Scientific Foreign Language", as well as attention is payed to the search for Ukrainian translation versions of the term flipped learning, which, in the author’s point of view, would be more correctly conveyed in its meaning.
