English language training for university teachers

Abstract

The problem of English language training for university teachers is addressed. Different models of teaching a professional foreign language and specialized subjects in a foreign language are discussed. The components and the structure of the learning content are considered. The problems of the English language training for teachers of specialized subjects were distinguished. The ways of further development of ESP competence of the teaching staff of the university were outlined.

Розглянуто проблему підготовки викладачів ЗВО з англійської мови. Обговорюються різні моделі викладання професійної іноземної мови та фахових предметів іноземною мовою. Розглянуто компоненти та структуру змісту навчання. Виділено проблеми підготовки вчителів профільних предметів з англійської мови. Окреслено шляхи подальшого розвитку англомовної підготоаки професорсько-викладацького складу університету.
